Hi, I’m Laurie James
I’m passionate about helping people discover reliant hope that gives resilience.
With my training in mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health, I take a holistic approach to well-being and offer compassion and shame-reduction in sessions. My aim is to support you in identifying the areas that need care and attention, and find healing through a trauma-informed approach when it is needed.
I come alongside clients to feel safe, understood, and supported while working through challenges and mental health concerns.
When you embrace your unique story, we will be able to work together to help you break free from frustrating patterns, live fully in the present, and discover hope for the future.
What does it look like to have Reliant Hope?
Sometimes it shows up in big ways, and often in small.
It is the desire to untangle the worry that grips each day and the dare to dream about what that would be like.
It’s reaching out for help because you are worth more than just surviving…even if right now that is a challenging thought.
It is the hope that gives resilience to walk through life, whatever it holds.

Rates
Beginning therapy—and investing in yourself—can feel like a big decision. My rate reflects the time, training, and care that I bring to our work together, but more than that, it represents an investment in your emotional health, growth, and long-term well-being.
$100.00 for a 45-50-minute session, in-person or teletherapy.
Payment
Credit/debit cards, check or cash are all accepted for payment and due at time of service.
Insurance:
I do not bill through insurance plans and accept self pay only.
My desire is for the course and method of treatment to be decided together, and we will discuss this during our initial session.
A superbill will be issued upon request. A client will never be caught off guard by the charge of treatment per the No Surprises Act.
Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel or change your appointment, 24 hours notice in advance is required to avoid charges. If notice is given less than 24 hours, the full hourly rate will be charged. Emergencies are an exception to this.
Thank you for understanding that kept appointments are key in your care and my availability to you and other clients.
